Founder and Director of T-Shape Consulting, Marlene has over a decade of experience at top global ad agencies and at iconic brands in senior marketing positions managing digital communications and customer experiences.
She is (one of) the only women running an independent consulting company in advertising and marketing technologies in Australia.
Award-winning strategist, she helped drive performance for brands such as Telstra, Westpac, Volkswagen, Tourism NZ, P&O Cruises, Sportsgirl, Volkswagen, Tourism NZ, Microsoft, and Samsung.
Stepping out of her role of Marketing Director APAC at RadiumOne in October 2015, she realised the need for individuals who have been in the marketers’ shoes and understands how it feels to deal with the challenges that the MarTech and AdTech industries pose to a marketer who wants to create fantastic customer experiences.
Now, Marlene shares her knowledge and expertise with her clients to transform their business successfully and preserve their position in a more crowded online marketplace. Her mission is to enable growth through delivering unique strategy solutions to leading media publishers, global marketers and promising technology providers.
Besides her consulting business, she is committed and passionate about education. She is currently a lecturer in Digital Marketing Strategy at Macleay College, and was previously an Instructor at General Assembly and a mentor for SheSays, an organisation running free mentorship and events to women in the creative and marketing businesses.
She is also involved in the start-up community and is actively developing opportunities to connect entrepreneurs, investors and CEOs across the globe through her business network.
Born and bred in Morocco, Marlene holds an Australian certificate of business coaching and graduated a Masters of Science in Management from Toulouse Business School, in France. She speaks multiple languages (French, English, Spanish, Italian and Moroccan Arabic) and owns a dual citizenship (French and Australian).
